The decision around buying beans for home brewing can be a daunting one with many brands, blends and origins available offering varying characteristics.  Here we offer some basic pointers to enhance your morning coffee ritual. Local home brewer wins with Wētā Coffee Stout!

More sensational news from the Wētā chronicles! Mike Allan a local Onehunga home brewer, recently won the New Zealand/Australia hub of the SJPORR brewing competition with his Wētā Coffee Stout! He now goes through to the finals which will be judged in the USA in early 2016. Mike used our house Wētā Bush Blend to condition the stout before bottling. The beer is currently being rebrewed for the competition and we are hoping to get a few bottles to sample with any interested beer and coffee fans. Watch this space and our Facebook updates....
